Being part of NKOCDA is a pride, because the vision we hold and the mission we seek to accomplish are far beyond “bread & butter”. As a member of NKOCDA, you share our vision and values, and ready to move with us in accomplishing our mission, with purpose and determination.
Membership Benefits
As a NKOCDA member, you are entitled to the following benefits.

Membership Engagements
As a NKOCDA member, the following engagements are expected from you.
- Be respectful to the cultural perspectives of other members.
- Be transparent in your collaboration with other members.
- Be devoted to any activity associated to you.
- Be mindful of your membership dues and pay in time.
- Be a promoter of the values and activities of NKOCDA.
Membership Requirements
Membership is open to both native and non-native (of any nationality) members of NKONTE who live in Cameroon or abroad. To be a NKOCDA member the following requirements are needed.
- A written motivation letter in English, French, or Akoose, addressed to the President of the General Assembly, stipulating your passion and interest in the vision and mission of NKOCDA.
- An Application Form to be collected from the NKOCDA Head or Branch offices, or online through this link; Membership Application Form.
- Any legal identification document in your current country.
- A 4×4 photo identification.
- A membership registration fee of $5/year non-refundable.
- A community engagement fee of $4/year non-refundable.
Once in possession of the above requirements, you can submit your application directly to NKOCDA Head or Branch offices, or online through this email; membership_application@nkocda.org.
Once your application is received, it will be processed for validity and the result will be communicated to you via your registered email or other related media. A NKOCDA membership certificate, badge, and contribution card in both hard and electronic version will be sent to you, along side related documents such as our Code of Conduct and recent Annual Activity Report.
*Note that after membership acceptance notification, all expenses related to sending hard versions of membership related documents will be under your responsibility.

Frequently ask Questions about NKOCDA Membership
The main objective of NKOCDA membership is to build a collaborative team for the provision and promotion of sustainable development and cultural activities in NKONTE and the world at large.
NKOCDA partnership is open to everyone, irrespective of nationality, ethnicity, tribe, institution, and community.
There are no distinct membership registration types. However, during registration, you maybe be optionally requested to choose your desired activities. Through this way, we can tailor the right messages, emails, and resources to our members.
During membership registration, you can choose email, social media channel, or telephone as your communication media option.
As a NKOCDA member, you benefits from information about our activities, value generated from our activities, you become eligible to apply for NKOCDA scholarships and assistances, eligible to vote and be voted in NKOCDA board members elections, and eligible to participate in NKOCDA projects, events, and operations.
NKOCDA membership duration depends on the member. As long as the member participate in NKOCDA activities and fulfilled his/her obligations, the membership will always be active!
