As a community, Nkonteh is faced with many cultural and development challenges. As a community development and cultural association, NKOCDA has been mandated to resolve these challenges, in partnership with local authorities, private and public institutions, other communities, and resourceful individuals, in Cameroon or abroad. Development Challanges
Development is a major aspect of our engagement to a sustainable society. In Nkonteh, there are many development challenges that hinders the achievement of this vision. These challenges are presented in a pictorial description below. They include poor road infrastructure, lack of portable drinking water, poor housing infrastructure, lack of electrical energy supply, and no educational institution.

Cultural Challanges
Culture is a major aspect of our engagement to a sustainable society. Nkonteh, as part of the greater Akoose ethnic group, is rich in culture.
