Culture & Tradition of Nkonteh

Culture

The Nkonteh community as part of the great Akoose community inherit its culture from the Akoose culture. The culture is rich in linquistic diversity, food, dressing, music, arts, and beauty!

The different cultural dishes in Nkonteh are same as those of Akoose, and consist of Esuba and Nzambighen, Nkwangalang, and a combination of many hybrid dishes with foreign ingredients and complements. However, as a striving community aiming to catchup with modernization, we have invented our own local cultural food similar to our conventional Akoose cultural dishes. For any information related to this special dishes, please Contact our Culinary team.

The cultural dressing of the Nkonteh people is also same as that of the Akoose ethnic group. It consist of a lawn and a shirt for men and a gawn for women. However, as a striving community, aiming for innovation and mordenization, we have designed our own local cultural dress to be use in the Akoose style but with the possibility to use with any other modern dressing style. For any information related to this special lawn design, please Contact our Design team.

Music, dancing, and cosmetic design is imbred of the Akoose culture and its communities, with Nkonteh not an exception. We are planning to add more value to the Akoose music, dancing, and cosmetic to catchup with modernization. For any information related our plans, please Contact our Artistic team.

Tradition

Nkonteh tradition is not different from that of the Akoose traditions. This constitute the traditional beliefs, rites, and rituals. However, we aim to introduce a traditional paradigm which will align with modern beliefs and add more value to the Akoose tradition.
